John Gavitt   John was lead engineer for Lockheed Martin that installed the new Nexrad weather radar on Middleton in 1996. Photos are of the old barracks, the Nexrad tower and the SS Colebrook up close and inside....
Amanda  Shahan Amanda is a wildlife biology student at McNeese State University at Lake Charles, Louisiana. Photos are of the weather shack, camping behind the barracks, the ship's trail and FPS Tower as they stand today
