Middleton Island National Forest...
"The 'Cabana' was built in 1962. We were ordered to destroy an old quanset, so we pulled out the ends and burned them and certified the quanset destroyed. Then we pulled the rest of it down to the beach with a dozer and spent several weeks building end walls with driftwood logs and built a fireplace on one end and a barbeque pit on the front porch. ......."
